Environmental Warriors Climb High
West Boldon Primary School visit Sunderland Climbing Wall as a reward for work done in the community
The Boldon Young People project decided to reward a local group of children from West Boldon School have done a lot of environmental projects in the Boldon Area. As a big thank you for their help and enthusiasm, a trip was arranged for the group to go to Sunderland Climbing wall to have fun climbing the many walls on offer.
The group have performed litter pick, made hanging baskets, garden furniture, and planted bulbs around the estate and many more projects which have helped contribute to making Boldon a better place to live.
West Boldon School are keen to send more groups to the community garden and the youth project next school year, once the funding for the youth and garden projects has been settled. The Projects are currently funded by Home Housing and South Tyneside Council.
The group had a great day and Youth project thanked them for their hard work this school year and looked forward to working with them in the future.
